Climbing equipment to Thunder Bay for retail sale
Hi Alex,
First of all I would like to thank you for your time and commitment to this project; it's been a long time comming! Thanks for stepping up to the plate. I have been climbing and developing rock and ice routes in this area for eight years now and have seen a steady increase in the number of local climbers since I arrived in 1996. Thunder Bay is a great place to climb and train, as others are now finding out thanks to the written word. This year I have had the good fortune to be able to bring climbing equipment to Thunder Bay for retail sale. The Wilderness Supply Company (with roots in Winnipeg) opened up a shop here last summer. I came on board in September and got the go ahead to expand the store's area of specialty from paddle sports to include vertical sports. We had a great winter, selling more gear than expected and excited to see the local climbing community support a local climbing shop. As I am stocking up rock equipment for the season, it is natural that I get some guidebooks in the shop. Please give me a shout at the store, or e-mail, with information regarding how I would go about doing this.
Thanks Kindly,
Mat Pellett (807)684-9555
